1973 Remington 1100LW in 20 GA Magnum
Remington 1100LW in 20 GA Magnum. Overall this shotgun is in excellent condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is bright and mirror like. There are very minor handling marks on the receiver and barrel, as well as the stock and forend. The forend appears to have been refinished. The stock still retains its original recoil pad. Both sides of the receiver are engraved, along with the right side of the bolt. The left side of the receiver is marked with "REMINGTON MODEL 1100LW". The "LW" stands for lightweight. The right side of the receiver is marked with the word "MAGNUM". The magnum refers to the shotgun's capability to shoot 3 inch shells. The barrel is 28 inches long and features a full choke. The magazine tube is plugged. According to the date code on the barrel, this shotgun was made in 1973. This would be great to add to any collection.
