Remington 550-1 in .22 S/L/LR. Overall this rifle is in good condition. Mechanically it functions as it should. The bore is bright with good lands and grooves. A large portion of the original finish and deteriorated to a dull gray patina. There are minor handling marks on the stock. The rifle features a tube magazine that can carry twenty-two .22 Short, seventeen .22 Long, or fifteen .22 Long Rifle cartridges as well as a decorated stock. The Remington 550 was manufactured between 1941 and 1970. The original version had two ejectors with a single ejector system being adopted in 1946 with the new pattern designated the Model 550-1. This would make an excellent plinking or collector's rifle.
